Boat Licence Transfers – Interstate, Overseas and Commercial

Do you need to transfer your interstate, overseas or commercial boat licence?

Sea Soaring Marine can process the transfer of your current interstate, overseas or commercial boat license to a Western Australia (WA) Recreational Skippers Ticket (RST). Review the Department of Transport link to determine if you are eligible for full or partial exemption from the RST assessment.

Documentation required:

  • Copy of the current boat license/certificate to be transferred
  • Proof of identity ( Aust Motor Driver’s License ( MDL ) or Aust passport. For other types – refer to page 9 of the RST Workbook for primary and secondary proof of identity documents required

Wayne is amazing! Having very little baiting experience I was worried about going but his easy going nature made class and passing a breeze. Very informative and teaches you all the little things that will help with safe boating.
