I can’t recommend the Skippers Ticket Training course at Sea Soaring Marine highly enough. Wayne is an excellent instructor with a wealth of experience in sea rescue and recreational boating. I finished the course much more confident that I can keep my family safe on the water and plan appropriately. From initial conversation to booking to information sent dealing with Wayne has been a pleasure. The actual day of theory and practical with 7 of us in attendance from ages 14 to 47 was professional, informative, fun, relatable and clear. Wayne uses both visual and written methods and completes the day with a positive, calm approach and great of humour. The Sea Soaring II (yep Wayne we remembered the name of the boat ????) was beautifully maintained. Thank u Wayne for a gr8 day – absolutely recommend you anywhere anytime???? See u on the water!

Have just completed my Recreational Skippers Ticket with Wayne. (30th December 2019).
Highly recommend Wayne and Sea Soaring Marine to anybody wishing to obtain this qualification.
Exceptionally professional, theory section of course delivered in an easy to understand format and the practical completed in a very well equipped and new boat that enhanced the experience.
Wayne expected high standards of group prior to passing which added to experience.
Wayne’s knowledge and previous experience in the field also ensured class time was enjoyable and I learnt a lot during the day.
