Wayne demonstrates an ingenious way to remove the “poo shooter” from a Western Rock Lobster

Ever had difficulty removing the "poo shooter" from a Western Rock Lobster, commonly known as a crayfish or cray. Lots of people like to boil their whole crayfish first, cut the whole cray in half lengthwise and then remove the poo shooter. Personally, I prefer to not boil my crays. After humanely dispatching the cray, I separate the body from the tail, cut one of the feelers off and insert the thick end up the anus until it pokes out of the body. Then I simply pull it back out and the many small spines on the feeler collect all that muck in one movement. Brilliant!
