Getting a skippers ticket with Wayne is great value for money. Could not be a better experience. So much more than ticks in the box for a license.
I can launch and drive a boat yet learned so many new things. He generously shares his 30+ years experience with many best practices for boat ownership and maintenance as well as tips for getting the boat in and out of the water.

Thanks again for the great learning experience yesterday. You truly are a very passionate and knowledgeable bloke and I’m so glad that I completed my RST with Sea Soaring Marine. Myself, Aimee, Mike, and Big Al all agreed that the experience was priceless and certainly “more than just a skipper’s ticket” as you so rightfully said.
My confidence in skippering a vessel has increased and I can’t wait to get out on the water with my family to enjoy the Blackwood river and Geographe bay in particular.

Firstly, thank you for your time and patience in delivering the assessment information for my RST. I actually learnt a great deal and gained confidence. I’m glad I chose your delivery method with the extra information that will help with ramp etiquette, maintenance, safety methods and procedures and general common sense. I can’t recommend the Skippers Ticket Training course at Sea Soaring Marine highly enough. Wayne is an excellent instructor with a wealth of experience in sea rescue and recreational boating. I finished the course much more confident that I can keep my family safe on the water and plan appropriately. Exceptionally professional, theory section of course delivered in an easy to understand format and the practical completed in a very well equipped and new boat that enhanced the experience.
