Have just completed my Recreational Skippers Ticket with Wayne. (30th December 2019).
Highly recommend Wayne and Sea Soaring Marine to anybody wishing to obtain this qualification.
Exceptionally professional, theory section of course delivered in an easy to understand format and the practical completed in a very well equipped and new boat that enhanced the experience.
Wayne expected high standards of group prior to passing which added to experience.
Wayne’s knowledge and previous experience in the field also ensured class time was enjoyable and I learnt a lot during the day.

Hey!!! Just wanted to say how amazing today was. It was a pleasure to learn new stuff from you and to not feel like a dick when asking a question. Your lessons were very informative and I feel very confident to be able to take out my boat tomorrow. You did not belittle me as a woman ( surprisingly it does happen a lot these days ). Today I had the pleasure of doing my Skippers Ticket with Wayne from Sea Soaring Marine. Not only does this bloke know his stuff, he individually tailors his approach so that not a single person is left behind not matter their experience level.
Absolutely first rate from the moment you enter Wayne’s classroom to the moment you step off his boat. Thanks Wayne, I cannot recommend you and your service highly enough. Not just an informative and educational day, but bloody fun as well. Cheers mate.

I can’t recommend the Skippers Ticket Training course at Sea Soaring Marine highly enough. Wayne is an excellent instructor with a wealth of experience in sea rescue and recreational boating. I finished the course much more confident that I can keep my family safe on the water and plan appropriately. If you are thinking of getting your RST and want to be safe as well as legal, give Wayne a call.
