Just did a refresher course with Wayne and really had a great time. He brought back so many things I had forgotten and taught me a lot of new boating skills. This guy really knows his stuff, so is you haven’t got a skippers ticket or need to know about boats, contact him, you’ll be glad you did.

I can’t recommend the Skippers Ticket Training course at Sea Soaring Marine highly enough. Wayne is an excellent instructor with a wealth of experience in sea rescue and recreational boating. I finished the course much more confident that I can keep my family safe on the water and plan appropriately. Getting a skippers ticket with Wayne is great value for money. Could not be a better experience. So much more than ticks in the box for a license.
I can launch and drive a boat yet learned so many new things. He generously shares his 30+ years experience with many best practices for boat ownership and maintenance as well as tips for getting the boat in and out of the water.

Have just completed my Recreational Skippers Ticket with Wayne. (30th December 2019).
Highly recommend Wayne and Sea Soaring Marine to anybody wishing to obtain this qualification.
Exceptionally professional, theory section of course delivered in an easy to understand format and the practical completed in a very well equipped and new boat that enhanced the experience.
Wayne expected high standards of group prior to passing which added to experience.
Wayne’s knowledge and previous experience in the field also ensured class time was enjoyable and I learnt a lot during the day.

From initial conversation to booking to information sent dealing with Wayne has been a pleasure. The actual day of theory and practical with 7 of us in attendance from ages 14 to 47 was professional, informative, fun, relatable and clear. Wayne uses both visual and written methods and completes the day with a positive, calm approach and great of humour. The Sea Soaring II (yep Wayne we remembered the name of the boat
