While on a sea trek expedition many years ago, the expedition leaders utilised a safety barrel for water proof storage of essential safety and personal equipment. It immediately resonated with me for it’s simplicity and functionality, especially in the event of a capsize situation.

I was just checking the pigeons and thought it was a good moment to thank you for the great course yesterday. Particularly the boat launch. Now I can show my son, Django, some good methods for the operation. Django expects to meet you in one year and two months .

He loved it so much, he was at the boat ramp when I left this afternoon watching the boats come in! Thanks again for the great learning experience yesterday. You truly are a very passionate and knowledgeable bloke and I’m so glad that I completed my RST with Sea Soaring Marine. Myself, Aimee, Mike, and Big Al all agreed that the experience was priceless and certainly “more than just a skipper’s ticket” as you so rightfully said.
My confidence in skippering a vessel has increased and I can’t wait to get out on the water with my family to enjoy the Blackwood river and Geographe bay in particular.
